The natural desire to help and lead others put Dana on the path of establishing his own business. He graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in landscape horticulture in 1974. Early years of business tested his persistence and determination. He instinctively knew that great companies are built on the principle of doing the right thing each and every day, and treating clients, colleagues and employees honestly, fairly and with respect. As a result, he has been in business for over 42 years and has achieved numerous industry accolades by upholding high standards of quality, workmanship along with customer loyalty and satisfaction.
Today, Dana is actively involved with the culture and future of the business while allowing his leadership team and skilled staff run the day to day. Along with this involvement he is also enjoying more time with his wife of 42 years who has supported the business from behind the scenes during that time. They have 2 sons that are active in the business. As an active outdoor and sports enthusiast, you may find him on the golf course or in the woods running his Brittany.
